On July 20,2019, CUC's general manager and Deputy Party secretary, Gu Xiaoshan, attended the bicentennial celebration of the in dependence of the Republic of Colombia in Shanghai, as for the previous invitation from Mr.Luis Diego Monsalve, ambassador from Colombia, and the General Counsel Ms.Acheveli Luz Helena Echeverry.Ambassador Monsalvi first extended a warm welcome to Gu and spoke highly of the remarkable achievements CUC had made in Colombia and its important contribution to the Colombia's social economic development.The ambassador said that Colombia and China had been in good relationship and shared mutually benefits for almost 40 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations , and China will always be an important strategic partner of Colombia.
